Two Rolls Straightening Machine
What is it for and how does it work
The constant collaboration in the construction of these machines together with “historical” manufacturing companies (Bronx, Kieserling), led us in our experience in this market, to provide straightening with two hyperbolic rollers able to cover a range from 8 mm to 200 mm of diameter for both raw rolled bar, both for finished peeled bars.
Our straightening machines are able to straighten the bars through the yielding of the outer fibers of the bar, which have accumulated tensions during the material production process.
Main features
- The straightening process by only two rollers enable to obtain optimal straightening results and constant all over the entire length of the bar including the tips and the tails.
- The welded monoblock structure ensures a constant force of straightening and low vibration, which allows the repeatability of all the operations of straightening, ensuring an excellent straightened product.
- All the Landgraf straightening are equipped with a hydraulic safety device for the anti-standing of the bars.
- With the machines is also provided a software that required input data of the yield strength of the material and the diameter of the bars, and based on these data, automatically set the position of the upper roller, the angle of the rollers and the force to exert.
In particular we provide straightening for the raw material after the rolling process that ensures an output product with straightness 1 mm/m.
Our straightening machines for round finished bars, after the peeling process, guarantee an output product with a straightness of 0.2 mm/m and a surface roughness Rz ≤ 2µm obtaining a product shiny and uniform.
